We spent the first weekend of football season at DeerLick Campground and had a blast! It was a bonus to have the Labor Day holiday giving us an extra day to enjoy camping!

We took a weekend camping trip to Pickensville, AL and had a great time! We stayed on site 133 and it was a back-up site with a great water view! Several boats and barges pass right by every day! We also went to the Tom Bevill Visitor Center in Pickensville. It had a museum and a steamboat that you could walk through! I would highly recommend stopping by on your trip!

So far our first camping trip is off to a great start! Ellie, our English Bulldog, is figuring out how to use the ramp to get in and out. I am finding some nice hiking trails and my son and hubs are figuring out how to get Dish Network to work so they can watch TV! Haha!
